I had an INCREDIBLE journey doing my show over in Scotland. Yes, it was hard - in some ways a lot harder than I thought it'd be - but also so much more fulfilling than I expected as well. I met some AMAZING people, who rallied around each other when times were tough, who sat in my audience when reviewers came, and who inspired me by the strength of their own courage and vision. I grew boundlessly in areas of strength and determination. And mostly: I did it. I brought a one-woman show by myself to the largest performing arts festival in the world, and I remained relatively unscathed. Or rather - scathed, but all the better for it.
Thanks for being along for the ride. I'm not sure where LGHS is headed next. For now I'm going to lock that 13-year-old girl inside her very own diary and put that diary under the bed for the time being. Who knows what comes next? As the Magic 8 Ball says: "Cannot predict now."
"Maybe it's just better not to know. . . "
